SUMMER SIZZLES WITH GERALD AND CULLEN RAPP'S HOT ILLUSTRATORS

Summer is an excuse to unwind, enjoy your morning ice coffee, and possibly catch a couple of baseball games.We thought it would be fun to show off some of the pieces intended for this special season. Brian Ajhar's great character work is on display for Kellogg's Frosted Flakes fan match promotion.

Phil Wigglesworth has a knack for summer inspired illustration. This double page spread was for Up Magazine Canada about all the cheap adventures tourists can do around North America.
Eva Vazquez illustrates a panoramic view of Madrid  for Mi Petit Madrid. Her surrealistic city comes to life with an array of detail and color. 
Jeff Smith uses his signature water color style to illuminate a perfect day in the harbor.

RAUL ARIAS: NEW ARTIST COMES WITH MANY STYLES

One of Raul's first projects with GC&R
was for  Billboard Magazine!
Raul Arias is one of several recent additions to our group. The early feedback has been terrific as his popularity in Europe has extended to America.

The Madrid-based illustrator specializes in editorial for magazines and newspapers. His combination of traditional painting and digital techniques has helped him convey the most important aspect of his art, the concept!

Raul has been illustrating for MetrĂ³poli ( El Mundo) for over 20 years, and has attracted an impressive roster of American clients including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The New Yorker and Readers Digest.

Below you will find a variety of recent illustrations showcasing his diverse and eclectic style.

Raul began his career studying animation at the Escuela Superior de Dibujo Professional in Madrid. He works in various mediums ranging from acrylic to vector art. 

Recently he has expanded his repertoire to include music videos and short films. CLICK HERE for an animation that was produced for Nike.




Raul has won many awards from the Society for News Design and the Society of Publications. He continues to educate himself with new approaches and techniques.
